Summer Elite Skills Clinic - Session 2 - July 25 (12-3PM @ Rancho Solano Prep)
The Ventura Basketball Academy “Summer Elite Skills Clinic - Session 2” will take place Sunday, July 25 at Rancho Solano Prep, and will be a segway from Session 1. Professional Skills Trainers Vaughn Compton and Brendon Lavender will provide creative new drills and innovative teaching methods to improve players skill development and confidence. VBA is all about training and preparing for the next season. Training is a form of discipline, and discipline is a great way to achieve your goals. Training during the summer can build a solid foundation of strength, speed, and accuracy. Learning how to use these skills properly can help enhance conditioning techniques. It is pointless for you to have the skills, but in the 4th quarter can’t perform at the highest level because you have nothing left in the tank. Training goals help players, coaches, and trainers keep track of any progress or improvements during the course of training. It can assess a player’s strengths and weaknesses which may me addressed during the training program. VBA aims to help players boost their confidence, enhance their basketball skills and techniques, and boost teamwork and sportsmanship during our Elite Skills Clinic. This 3hr high intensity workout will include a series of game simulated drills, advanced handle concepts, fundamental shooting, different finishing methods, competitive drills, and more.
