VBA Co-owner & Head Skills Specialist
Vaughn Compton is quickly rising to be one of Arizona's best basketball trainers. After growing up in Mesa, AZ, Vaughn attended local basketball powerhouse Mesa Mountain View High School. In his HS career on their multi-talented team, they were back-to-back state champions under legendary head coach Gary Ernst. Their team concluded the season ranked 14th in the nation. After his high school career, but before he could pursue his dreams of playing college basketball, Vaughn was sidelined due to three consecutive ACL surgeries. After the third surgery, he came to the realization that pursuing his basketball career was no longer an option. That is when he decided to start teaching the game and make a career out of it. Vaughn has a true passion and talent for teaching the game of basketball.
